A Note from Josuah

Hello everyone! For those that don’t know, my name is Josuah Tilus, and I have been the owner of Chinook Pharmacy since 2024.

I’ve been blessed to work with Chuck and Pura Carlson to inherit ownership of the pharmacy and allow them a well-deserved retirement. They are now enjoying family time with their two wonderful children and taking care of their little farm. The Carlsons have done a wonderful job taking care of their patients as did Linda and Stan Peterson before them. I’m honored to have been passed the torch to take care of this community. Many friendly faces are still here, you may not always see them out front as they are working diligently to run things behind the scenes.

Chinook Pharmacy is still independently owned and operated. We are also part of a small cooperative network of independent pharmacies in the Pacific Northwest backed by the Cascadia Pharmacy Group. Chinook Pharmacy has been supported by a similar group in the past under the Carlsons’ ownership. The Cascadia group supports small independent owners like me to get fair medication pricing, wider insurance coverage and allows other independents to collaborate and lean on each other. They advocate for us small independent pharmacies so that we may focus on what truly matters, our patients.

About Our Team

Josuah Tilus

Owner/CEO

Josuah is responsible for creating and maintaining a system that delivers the right medications to the right people at the right time. He sets the pharmacy’s vision and direction and strategizes ways to best serve the people of Forks.

Josuah enjoys seeing the people around him succeed. He says, “At the end of the day, the point of medications/healthcare is to help people maintain their daily functions, to essentially do what God has called them to do. I enjoy being a part of helping people do great things in Forks.”

Fun Fact: Josuah was valedictorian of his high school and summa cum laude of his undergraduate and pharmacy degrees. While in pharmacy school, he also trained to become a powerlifter.

    Christina Buchmann

    Office Manager

    Christina is the force behind the scenes at Chinook Pharmacy. She handles all things billing and HR while supporting the pharmacy as a technician when needed. 

    Christina loves the daily challenges and variety that her job provides. She loves serving the Forks community and the outlying areas to bring healthcare closer to our hometown.

      Beth Church

      Front End Manager

      Beth Church brings a passion for community and customer care to her role as Front End Manager at Chinook Pharmacy, overseeing the clerks, training, and store displays.

      With 37 years of preschool teaching and experience in home healthcare, Beth is deeply connected to her roots in Forks. She and her husband enjoy family gatherings, teaching Sunday school at The Forks Assembly of God church, and embracing the strong community spirit that makes Forks a special place to live and work.
